Terms of Service

Last updated 9 July 2026

These terms govern your use of the overlane.ai website and the interactive product demonstration hosted on it (together, the "Site"), operated by Overlane Limited ("Overlane", "we", "us"), a company registered in Jersey, Channel Islands. By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These website terms are separate from any commercial agreement for a paid or self-hosted deployment of Overlane. Where a signed agreement exists between us, that agreement governs the product, and these terms cover only your use of this website.

1. Use of the Site

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Site for lawful, informational, and evaluation purposes. You must not misuse the Site, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it, or use it in breach of applicable law.

2. The interactive demonstration

The demonstration runs in your browser to show how the product works. It is provided for evaluation only, on an "as is" basis, with the AI features disabled, and it may change or be withdrawn at any time. It is not intended for production use. Please do not enter real personal, confidential, or otherwise sensitive data into the demonstration. Any data you load is processed locally in your browser and is your responsibility.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Site to build or distribute anything unlawful; reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Site other than as permitted by law; misrepresent your affiliation with us; or infringe our or anyone else's rights.

4. Intellectual property

The Site, including its text, design, graphics, artwork, and software, is owned by or licensed to Overlane and is protected by intellectual property laws. The Overlane name and logo are our marks. Nothing in these terms transfers any of those rights to you.

5. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to third-party services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

6. No warranty

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Overlane will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Overlane against claims, losses, and costs arising from your misuse of the Site or breach of these terms.

9. Changes

We may update the Site and these terms at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. We will change the date above when we make material changes.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Jersey, Channel Islands, and the courts of Jersey have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory rights you may have as a consumer in your place of residence.
